Reflector

In a light speed transmission system, mirrors or total reflectors are used as end mirrors and folding mirrors within the laser cavity, while outside the cavity they act as beam return mirrors. Silicon, copper, and molybdenum are generally used as substrates. Silicon is a commonly used substrate for coated reflective mirrors, offering advantages such as low cost, durability, and stable thermal properties. Due to its high thermal conductivity, copper is typically used in high-power CO2 lasers. Molybdenum possesses extremely high surface strength, enabling it to operate in harsh environments with a long lifespan, high power handling capacity, and a non-coated, wipe-resistant surface.
